Yvonne Anita Rolland-Booker was born on July 9th, 1965, in Augusta, Georgia.  She was raised in a Christian home with her parents, Willie R. Rolland, Frankie M. Rolland, and brother Carlton O. Rolland.  At age 11, Yvonne joined the New Holt Baptist Church in Harlem, GA., Rev. G.R. Dean was Pastor.  She served in the children’s Choir, junior usher’s ministry, and the G.R. Dean Gospel Choir.  Later, Yvonne ministered with the Walter Booker Gospel Choir and the Columbia County Mass Choir. She is a member of Antioch Baptist Church since 1996, KB Martin, Pastor. 


Psalm 91:1 & 2. “Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.”

 

As First Lady for 23 years, she severed as the Vacation Bible School Director/Teacher (youth and adult), taught Sunday School, sung on the Praise Team and instrumental in the footprint of the Church owned Daycare facilities. Lady Yvonne attended Southern Wesleyan University where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management.  She also obtained a Master of Science in Management.  Yvonne is employed with Augusta University for 34 years and currently manage finances for Research Clinical Trial Studies.

Lady Yvonne has been married for 35 years (August 20, 1988) to Reverend Anthony M. Booker, they are the proud parents of Destini Aiyana-Carrie Booker – 20 years old. Lady Yvonne enjoys volunteering for United Way and Augusta University Employee Recognition Ceremonies, participating in Atlanta Lupus Walk, The Miracle Mile Walk, assisting with registration for GMBC of Georgia State Youth Convention, shopping, movies, and decorating.
